Winter Demonstrations (See lower half of page for current programme)

A monthly programme of demonstrations is held in the Alton Assembly Rooms on the third Saturday of each month from September to March; free to members and available to visitors for a small charge on the door.  Various styles of working and media are demonstrated during a season.  Every demonstration is videoed and projected live onto a large screen, giving everyone a clear view.  During an interval, tea and coffee are available.

The Society runs a free lending library during these meetings. Members can borrow books about practical techniques and much more from our extensive collection.

The March meeting starts early at 2-00 p.m. with the Annual General Meeting held before the demonstration, which starts as usual at 2-30 p.m.

Some full day practical workshops are held through the year,  See below for details..
